Darren and his friends escape the tunnels, but not long after they are arrested. An anonymous tip pointed to them as the murderers. But, now they need to escape prison so they can find the vampaneze lord and kill him once and for all.
This book continues right where number 8 left off, them escaping the tunnels. This book is packed full of action. Having to deal with the vampaneze and then the police, Darren and friends don't have much time for rest.
At times the story could be intense and there were lots of twists. One of the things that happened, I had actually been wondering if it would. I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say it was good and I can't wait to read the next book.
