Skeleton Creek - Patrick Carman

Ryan and Sarah have been friends since they were kids. And they are known to get into trouble together, but this last time, was the last straw for their parents.

But both Ryan and Sarah are wondering if it is something more. It seems they are digging into Skeleton Creek's past too much and are onto something.

Something strange is happening in Skeleton Creek and Ryan and Sarah have to find out what it is.

I just recently found this book at my local library. I had never heard of the series before, but thought it looked like something I would like. It is in a journal format, sort of like Diary of a Wimpy Kid or Dork Diaries, but it is deals with the strange and paranormal instead.

Ryan likes to write. A lot. And so he keeps a journal. Sarah likes to video things and has her own website in which she uploads videos. They can only be accessed by entering the correct passwords.

And that is one of the things that makes this series really neat - throughout the book there are different passwords which can be used on Sarah's website so the reader can watch the videos that Ryan sees. I watched all of them and they can be creepy. It's pretty cool to have the videos to watch as well.

The book was suspenseful, especially towards the end and what they find really got me trying to figure everything out, too. I'm looking forward to reading the next book and finding out what happens.
