The velveteen rabbit is new. He was a Christmas gift and was soon forgotten. He is fine with it, after all, who wants to become shabby? But then, Skin Horse tells him about being Real. How when a child loves you, you become Real and the rabbit hopes one day he will become Real.I believe my mom read this story to me when I was very young, but I don't really remember it. I also think that I might have seen a cartoon that was based on this book, but I'm not sure.The story is nice. A bit sad, but has a happy ending. I think any child and even adults, will like this classic tale of how a toy rabbit became Real.
