Greg is in a hurry to grow up, but he realizes that maybe growing up so fast is the best thing after all. His dad is pressuring him to to be responsible and he is having to deal with boy-girl parties and other things that come with getting older.Greg is still pretty much the same in the book and it is just as funny as the others. But in this book Greg doesn't have his friend Rowley by his side and Greg is having to go through things alone. Maybe he will appreciate his friend more in the future. Knowing Greg, probably not. But I look forward to reading the next book.
