Review
This is Gail Carson Levine's second book about writing. The first is Writing Magic: Creating Stories that Fly, which I loved when I read it in 2011.
Like Mrs. Levine's first book on writing, she doesn't tell you how to write. This book is just full of advice and practices to help you in writing.
It has chapters on character building, villains, creature creation and more. There is also some sections on writing poetry and even a chapter about blogging.
This is a good book with lots of advice for writers. But, I personally like Writing Magic better.
