Dork Diaries 9: Tales from a Not-So-Dorky Drama Queen - Rachel Renée Russell, Rachel Renée Russell

There is a rumor going around that Brandon only kissed Nikki on a dare. And she really hopes it isn't true. If that wasn't bad enough, Mackenzie gets her hands on Nikki's diary!

This one is different from other books in the series because partly it is written by Mackenzie. She gets her hands on Nikki's diary and starts writing in it herself. It was interesting to see things from Mackenzie's perspective, but I can't say that I really liked it.

Mackenzie's life apparently isn't as perfect as she makes it out to be, but Mackenzie's still the same. There is no nice or soft side to her character. She's just. . . . Well, a jerk. I don't think Mackenzie is likeable whatsoever.

So I didn't really enjoy the part where Mackenzie took over, but Nikki, as always, I loved her and enjoyed reading the parts that were her diary.
