The Time of the Ghost - Diana Wynne Jones
Something has happened. An accident. Something. But the problem is, she can't remember what and doesn't even know who she is. Another problem is that she's a ghost.

She floats through buildings and even a school house that she sort of remembers. And sees people that she somehow knows. Slowly things come back to her, except for who she really is.

But, she knows that she and her sisters unleashed something evil without knowing. Somehow she has to change what they did.

This book is seen through the eyes of a ghost, who for quite a while, is nameless. It is eventually revealed who she is, but it is after a lot of wondering and the ghost herself searching for clues.

I liked all the sisters. They were very different from each other, didn't always get along, but they were always there for each other.

Honestly, it is no wonder the sisters got up to no good. I know the parents are teachers and that takes up a lot of their time, but they weren't there for their daughters. Except, it seems, when punishments needed to be dealt out.

Basically, they were neglected. And I'll admit, that did bother me. The parents just didn't seem to care, especially their father. He called them names you should never call your children.

I liked the book a lot. It was a lot like a mystery. I just kept wondering, who is the ghost? It really kept me guessing and I think it had a very good story.

I don't want to spoil anything, but it is really interesting what Diana Wynne Jones did with this book. It is not your usual ghost story, and I liked that. Very good book.
