A young fruit bat named Stellaluna gets separated from her mother one night after an owl attack.

Stellaluna finds a bird nest with three young birds in it and soon becomes part of the family. Eventually Stellaluna is reunited with her mother and introduces her bird family to her bat family.

I think this is a really sweet book. I enjoyed the story very much and the illustrations are just beautiful. This is a wonderful picture book that I think both children and adults will enjoy.
