Now that war has come to the County, the Spook, Tom and Alice fleed, first going to Mona Island and now, Ireland. Tom has been dreading coming to Ireland, as he was warned by a Celtic Witch that if he ever came to Ireland, a very powerful Goddess would take her revenge. But they have no choice, they must work in Ireland until it is safe to return. But the dark is strong there and Tom has much to worry about. He hopes he'll be able to survive whatever happens.Wow. There is so much I want to say, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone else. I just know with this book, a lot has changed. Not just for Tom, but everyone. I feel bad for all of them because it's hard to know what to do in their situations. They all have had to do things that go against their beliefs. I just know with this book a lot has changed and it made me a little teary eyed at parts. It was great as always.
